After the heart-wrenching emotions of the previous Life Shocks Romances novel, I wanted to write something a little lighter. I also wanted to write about money.
Yes, money. The thing that makes the world go round. Or at least, it pays the bills, and that’s a good thing.
In Flawed (Life Shocks Romances #6), Jake is looking for a sponsor while he trains for Olympic gold. Ariel is heaven-sent–pretty, wealthy, and their sexual chemistry is mind blowing.
Except that she’s not wealthy. Not at all.
Flawed is different from many other sports romances because the athlete isn’t immediately famous and wealthy. So many of us struggle daily with making ends meet. Add love into the tangle, and it can become extremely complicated. I really enjoyed telling Jake and Ariel’s story, but one of my favorite characters in Flawed is Noelle–Ariel’s mouthy best friend. Check them out in Flawed…
